Download and install the Chromebook app from the Play Store, then log in with your Proton account. If you don`t have an account, sign up here.

Once the app is installed, open it and log in with your Proton VPN username and password. If you are a Proton Mail user, you can access the Proton VPN Free plan by logging in with your Proton Mail username and password. To get a Proton VPN account, sign up here.

The Proton VPN app for Chromebook has been specifically engineered to be secure, fast, and easy to use. You can use Proton VPN to stream your favorite shows, share files over BitTorrent, access censored content and protect your privacy.
In order to do all this, it is important to offer tools that people will actually use and find useful. Founded by CERN scientists, Proton VPN has thoughtfully re-engineered our fully-featured Android app to ensure it runs flawlessly on Google Chromebooks.
The easiest way to install our app is from the Play Store. If you prefer to avoid Google, then our app is also available on F-Droid or can be downloaded as an APK on GitHub.
All newer Chromebooks support Android apps out-of-the box. On most older Chromebooks, Android support can be enabled by going to Settings -> Apps -> Google Play Store -> Turn on.
Open the App Launcher to run the app, sign in, and select the Quick Connect button at the bottom right of the app. It's as easy as that. Alternatively, you can pick a particular country or specialized server (P2P or Tor).
You can use the Proton VPN Chromebook app to access content blocked by your internet service provider, government, workplace, or college. To access it, simply connect to a VPN server in an area where that content is not censored. If you have a VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited account, you can also access popular streaming services by connecting to a Plus server.
